Information for Officials

In order for our swim meets to function we need to have all feet on deck!

Each swim family must volunteer one adult to officiate for one session at each swim meet attended. Login information was sent to parents/guardians. The document below will assist you with completing the online consent forms.

In addition to officiating for our home meet on June 1st, we will also require volunteers to assist with swim meet duties.

Parents/Guardians are expected to have their level one officiating clinic completed by May 29th. Level one certification allows someone to be a timer during a swim meet. We also need volunteer officials in many other positions, that also require additional training. Some clinics can be completed online and others will be offered face-to-face, information will be shared with members at the start of the season.

A goal for this swim season is to also increase our officiating capacity. If you already have your Level One we would like you to consider completing the Level Two certification (Stroke and Turn, Starter) this season. These positions are required for the success of swim meets in the region, and we all need to do our part to help out.

In addition to officiating for our home meet on June 1st, we will also require volunteers to assist with swim meet duties.

Please contact the club Chair of Officials, Richard Harris at drharristraining@gmail.com.

Exceptions can be made to these requirements. Please contact the club president if you are unable to fulfill a requirement for any reason.
