In order for our swim meets to function we need to have all feet on deck!
Each swim family must volunteer one adult to officiate for one session at each swim meet attended. Login information was sent to parents/guardians. In addition to officiating for our home meet on May 30th, we will also require volunteers to assist with swim meet duties.
Parents/Guardians are expected to have their level one officiating clinic completed by May 26th. Level one certification allows someone to be a timer during a swim meet. We also need volunteer officials in many other positions, that also require additional training. Some clinics can be completed online and others will be offered face-to-face.
A goal for this swim season is to also increase our officiating capacity. If you already have your Level One we would like you to consider completing the Level Two certification (Inspector of Turn, Judge of Stroke) this season. These positions are required for the success of swim meets in the region, and we all need to do our part to help out.
Exceptions can be made to these requirements. Please contact the club president if you are unable to fulfill a requirement for any reason.
